Mission

A Financial Operating System for Decarbonization.

Capital flows where the math is clearest. postdoc.jp makes the math public.

Why This Exists

Japan has committed ¥150 trillion to GX over the next decade. But the allocation infrastructure — the rating agencies, the valuation models, the audit trails — was built for 20th century assets. Decarbonization projects are priced with spreadsheets that cannot capture optionality, regulatory discontinuity, or technology learning curves. We are building the missing layer.

Who This Is For

Institutional Investors

LPs, pension funds, and insurance companies allocating to GX. Our ratings give you an independent, model-auditable view that complements broker research.

Project Developers

Ammonia, hydrogen, CCS, and CDR operators seeking capital. A public rating with a reproducible model shortens due diligence.

Policymakers

METI, MOF, and regulators calibrating carbon pricing and subsidy regimes. Our scenario outputs quantify the investment response to policy parameters.

Researchers

PhDs in climate, energy, and finance. Contribute models, publish in the registry, build a measurable track record.

Principles

  1. 01Open models. Closed data is a liability, not an asset.
  2. 02Ratings are probabilities. We publish distributions, not point estimates.
  3. 03Every commit is auditable. Every version is reproducible.
  4. 04Human capital is capital. We quantify it.

Roadmap

2026 Q2The Ammonia Protocol — applied hackathon & first registry entries.
2026 Q3FastAPI valuation engine v1 (open source). CBAM / J-Credit scenario packs.
2026 Q4Hydrogen & CCS protocols. Rating API beta for institutional users.
2027CDR protocols. Cross-asset portfolio scoring. Public methodology review board.
